We are committed to transparency and accountability in our financial practices
Oversight & Governance
- Our finances are overseen by a dedicated Treasurer and monitored by our District Council Stewards (DCS).
- All spending is approved by the DCS and regularly reported in our leadership meetings.
- We adhere to generally accepted accounting principles and best practices for communities of faith.
Transparency
- Quarterly financial reports are made available to the community.
- Annual financial statements are subject to review or audit by the DCS.
- The community is welcome to inquire about our financial practices and reports.
Tax Information
BLD SF Bay Area is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Donation receipts are issued for all contributions. Annual giving statements are provided by January 31st for the previous year's donations.
